Watch out for Tax Return Preparer Fraud!

In her 2012 Annual Report to Congress, National Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olson discusses the most serious problems facing taxpayers today. This video discusses return preparer fraud, which the NTA has identified in her latest report as one of the most serious problems encountered by taxpayers. The NTA leads the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), an independent organization within the IRS. TAS helps taxpayers resolve problems with the IRS and recommends changes to prevent those problems.
